The Legacy of The Michaels
The Tullamaine Spirit has been passed down through 5 generations of Michaels. Pushing the boundaries, exploring ideas and daring to be different, the Michaels were not afraid to adapt with ever changing times. The essence of the Michaels have been distilled through the generations to contribute their experience, wisdom and craftsmanship into this family driven distillery.
The Golden Vale
Located in The Golden Vale, the Tullamaine family farm has a rich heritage. Taking inspiration from the fields of golden barley and rich hedgerows to the almost 200 year old well, Michael VII knew he had to capture the essence of the DeBarra family farm and bottle it. This is where the idea for Tullamaine Distillery was born.
The Creation of Tullamaine
Inspired by the bravery and innovation of the Michaels before him, Michael VII took the leap to make his vision a reality. With a clear goal for the future of the DeBarra family farm, Michael set about creating quality Irish Craft products that bottle the feeling you get when you step onto the grounds.
Quality Irish Products
The first quality product to represent Tullamaine Distillery is a Premium Craft Gin made on the farm in Tipperary. Using water from our nearly 200 year old well, this Gin is crafted using a fusion of exotic and local botanicals. This Gin marks the first of many creations from Tullamaine Distillery.
The Building of the Distillery
Bringing the heritage of the Tullamaine family farm to life, we will build a family run micro distillery on site. Located just outside the village of Rosegreen, the products will be produced in the existing barn. Using the water from our nearly 200 year old well, paired with the barley from our farm, we will produce and age high quality crafted spirits. Hand bottled and labeled on site, the essence of our family heritage will guide all that we do.
